ISO 24712 8601 Information Technology Interchange

The International Standard provides a set of test pages that are in a common format for files that can be utilized in testing the cartridge yield for colour toner and colour ink. This test suite is not designed to print photographs. It's purpose is to show a selection of typical consumer pages. The pages can be used in accordance with ISO/IEC 1998 as well as ISO/IEC 24711.
IEC (the International Electrotechnical Commission), ISO (the International Organization for Standardization), is the worldwide system for standardization. Through technical committees that deal with particular technical areas, national bodies who are members of IEC or ISO are involved in the creation and maintaining of International Standards. Color test pages for determining office equipment consumable loss 1 Scope. The objective of the International Standard is to create colour test sheets for measuring the loss of consumables. The test page suite comprises four pages that are of "customer" type and one page for diagnosing the expiration date of toner or ink. These pages can be used for electro-photographic, inkjet printers and multi-function devices that have a digital printing path, i.e. A digital printer that's all-in-one for electro-photography.
